Art Star Craft Bazaar
Tomorrow we’re leaving town to do Art Star Craft Bazaar in Philly. Yay! Philadelphia is one of my favorite cities. Last year at Art Star there was torrential rain and hurricane winds, but we still managed to do well. This weekend’s weather forecast is looking good, fingers crossed it stays that way. Leslie W, if you’re reading this, my phone’s sim card died and I lost your...
I can’t wait for the third season. Anyone know when it will air? I have a sinking feeling it’s going to be a while. I don’t know if we even get AMC, so most likely I will be forced to wait even longer for the dvd. In the meantime, here are some really cool illustrations from Dyna Moe.
Free Memorial Day Show at Bubba's Sulky Lounge!
Our dear old friends, Shellhead and Jen Shagawat, from Shellshag are coming to town tomorrow. Get it, Shellshag. They’re playing with Noah and Derek’s new band, Haru Bangs, plus the Rattlesnakes and Ye. It’s going to super fun! And free! Doors open at 9pm, 21+. Shellshag
Tower of Song Festival
Tomorrow we will have a booth at the Tower of Song, right here in Portland, Maine. Aahh, so nice to not travel this weekend. There will be bands playing live from the top floor of the historic Schwartz Building with music being amplified to the streets below. In addition, there will also be a little craft fair in Congress Square. That’s where we’ll be, right next to the clock. Come...
Okay, some of you have figured it out by now. Our newest ladies shirt is inspired by Jacob from the Twilight series. I know, I’m still a teenager at heart.
Weekend Wrap Up
I had an amazing weekend in Brooklyn. I stayed with Cammie and Melissa of Fashion Rerun. They live 2 blocks from my old apartment, so it’s pretty sweet staying in my old neighborhood. We ate at the Brooklyn Standard like 3 times, it was so good. I also got to squeeze in cocktails with my dear friend, Rain, and we had such a comical and hilarious time. Fashion Rerun and Pinecone+Chickadee got...
No Sleep Til Brooklyn
I’m flying to NYC tomorrow. Gonna do the Brooklyn Flea on Saturday and the Bust Spring Fling Craftacular on Sunday. Noah’s staying around to do opening weekend at the South End Open Market in Boston. This is the first time I’ve flown to do a craft fair. I’m very nervous. Hope my luggage doesn’t get lost!
Yes, I Loved This Movie
One of the perks of working for yourself is getting to go to a noon showing of Star Trek on a weekday. I went in ready to be disappointed, but it was sooooo gooood.
What Goes Around Comes Around
I like this poster.
We had a massive yard sale today. It went really well, despite the rain. I’ve been hesitant to throw a yard sale because of my experience the last (and only) time I tried to throw one. It was on my front stoop in San Francisco when I lived in the Mission, like 10 years ago now. Nobody bought anything that day, but junkies and crackheads with b.o. descended like locusts and rifled through...
I totally want to stay here.
