Viva Las Vegas
Arrived in Las Vegas on Friday. Yesterday we met with Chi-Yoon for lunch, who is coincidentally working here doing some film editing at the moment. We introduced her to Makino’s, possibly the best gourmet sushi and seafood buffet in the whole world. Whenever we come to visit my parents, Makino’s is always on the top of our list of restaurants we have to hit. Chi-Yoon loved it, too. Alas, I ate so much I couldn’t eat dinner. Las Vegas is so different than when I grew up here, for one thing there are so many amazing Asian restaurants now. I’m in food heaven when I come to town. Sorry no pics, we ate too fast!
